Dear Brother Knights;

Easter is so late this year! I know you can recall how the date of Easter is calculated. Easter always fallson the first Sunday after the first full moon after the vernal equinox. You knew that, right? Anyway, it meansthat Easter in 2011 is late. Another way of looking at it is that most of April will still be the season of Lent.There is still time to enter with full heart and soul into the season of grace. Ask yourself: are you beingattentive to prayer? Are you doing the works of charity? Are you setting aside whatever distracts you fromGod? Are you growing closer to the Lord Jesus? Lent is an annual gift in our lives. We have the greatopportunity to turn to the Lord. We can be forgiven of all our sins in the confessional. We can become themen and woman Jesus called us to be on the day of our baptism. On the last Sunday of this month whenyou come to Easter Mass, you can come with a renewed sense of holiness in your own life if you take theeffort now, in Lent, to grow closer to the Lord. Don’t miss the chance! God is calling you!
