My Brothers,
a little over year ago, with the endorsement of State Deputy Siejack I asked Brother George Misulia from St. Peters Council in Libertytown to make a presentation at the Fall meeting on an idea he had.
For those of you that weren't there, George wanted to provide Catholic music and other religious material (homilies, pod casts, etc) on iPod's accompanied by a sound amplified docking station, to our Catholic Military Chaplains in the field. The intent was to help make those religious services being conducted shipboard or at isolated military bases more meaningful by having religious music and song to accompany the priests during mass, and/or to have music, song, and spiritual reflections available to lay leaders for services when the Chaplains weren't available.
After that presentation, we received donations from 12 councils, 12 districts, 2 Assemblies, a Chapter, and the Marlowe Agency; and we were off and running. You can see the whole project at:

We have received approval for full production from the Archdiocese of Military Services, we have been discussed on radio stations, Chaplains in the field are sharing their units with other Chaplains, and the word is spreading quickly. We now have more requests than we can handle and are working with the Vicar General on how to best prioritize the requests so that we apply the funds we have remaining to those in most need first.
Congratulations to George Misulia for a great idea and thanks you to the Maryland Knights of Columbus for your support of our military Chaplains all over the world!
